K1 is now officially launched!!
We went live at the Smartlife Low Carbon Building opening, on Monday 31 October, which was held just yards from the K1 site.
The Smartlife event was opened by Greg Barker the Minister for Energy and Climate Change at DEC and I was lucky enough to brief him on the K1 scheme.
Also on Monday, thanks to Transition Cambridge, we held a briefing meeting attended by around 15 people who wanted to learn more about the project.
Our next focus is to promote the project as widely as possible. A series of media will be used and we would urge you to let your networks know about K1. We have fliers, posters and pdfs of the flier available for emailing. Please get in touch if you’d like to use the material for your networks.
Next week we will hold our first meeting of the Foundation Group to start the design processes. The meeting will be held at CAR’s Office in Gwydir Street at 4.30pm on Wed 9 November.
